What is wrong with this elephant?

This is a photo taken of an elephant in Uganda. The elephant has lost half of his trunk due to a poachers snare trap. As you can see the elephant has adapted to his environment by eating plants and bushes out of the side of his mouth instead of grabbing them with the end of his trunk. I have seen him many times over the last four months and he seems to be well.

Stop poaching and trapping!
